Highlighting dishes sold by the food provider:

The Albergo Ristorante Camaldoli is renowned for its authentic Schiacciata di Camaldoli, a delectable Tuscan flatbread passed down through generations of the Tassini family. Savor the flavors of the region with dishes like Ribollita, a hearty vegetable and bread soup, or indulge in fried Porcini mushrooms and grilled Salsiccia cinghiale (wild boar sausage) for a true taste of Tuscany.

History of the eatery:

With a history dating back to the 1100s, Albergo Ristorante Camaldoli is deeply connected to the spiritual and cultural heritage of the Via di Francesco. As an ancient annex of the Monastery of Camaldoli, the eatery’s tradition of hospitality began with the great-great-grandfather Danillo Tassini, who managed a restaurant in Moggiona and later the Canova of the Hermitage of Camaldoli. The Tassini family has continued this legacy, managing the restaurant since 1930 and preserving the authentic recipes, ingenuity, and warmth that have delighted pilgrims for centuries.
