Culture & History

Castello di Ferrano boasts a rich history that dates back to the 19th century. Surrounded by 500 hectares of woods and fields, the castle once belonged to the Bocci family. The last representative of the Bocci, Livia, adopted Fabrizio Benucci, whose parents worked as farmers for the family. When Livia passed away, Fabrizio inherited the castle and transformed it into an exclusive destination for guests.

The castle has seen three generations of families live within its walls, and artifacts from their lives can be found throughout the property. From ancient kitchen tools to old photographs, postcards, and books, each corner holds a story waiting to be discovered. The Bocci Benucci family has worked tirelessly to preserve the castle’s history and memories, ensuring that every guest who visits is transported to a different time.
